A/C to refrigerator 12V via rectifier..

I was told this speciat unit contact directly to Waeco 12v/24v fridge compressor , bypassing the batteries. Some say it might shorten compressor life. Anyone has any experience with rectifiers?

Power supply for BD30/50 compressors

Only the latest compressors from Danfoss, the BD35 & BD50, may be run safely direct from a power supply without a battery. Radio Shack has a 10 amp power supply that works very well, smaller ones will not work.
