We are a new 9.2c owner and since the aft cabin bed is 48 inches wide, we are wondering if any one has figured out a way to make the bed 60 inches wide to accept a queen size foam mattress? Thanks in advance Rob

i don't have a 9.2c and have not been on one so i am of no help to you other than to say take a tape measure and see if you have room to expand the base of the bed on each side to do this if you have the room then you will have to add some plywood to the existing bed and support it on the outer sides to carry the weight under the extensions

We just moved onto our 9.2C in Florida. You might be able to extend the bed toward the bow a few inches, but you may loose some ease of access to storage--and note the berth is not square, it is shorter on the stern side. We brought our memory foam topper and plan to lay it down with the original pieces on top and cut it to fit.
