9.2 plexiglass hatch

Hello S2 9.2A owners. I need dimensions from a forward deck hatch please. If one of you will send these to me I will be forever grateful. I am interested in knowing if it is the same hatch as on an 8.5 (same as 8.6 too) Without going to much trouble, the more info the better. I have a project in mind that may benefit many of us! S2 9.2A Forward hatch Dimensions

3/4" thick smoke colored Plexiglas
23 7/8" wide X 24 3/8" long
Aft end has square corners
Forward end has about 2" radius corners
10) 21" X 3/4 wide X 3/16" thick battens on top equally spaced with 4 screws into the Plexiglas
I assume that you would use the existing hinges and forward latches

S2 8.5/8.6 is not the same hatch. 8.5/8.6 has a trapezoid shape. Hard to measure due to the rounded corners. But it looks to be 22" wide at the front edge; 28" wide at rear edge (mast/hinge end) and 21" in length (front to rear). Corners are 2" radius, although the front looks a bit bigger than the rear, but I believe it's the illusion of one corner (rear) being less than 90 degrees, and the other being obtuse (front). It is flat. Battens are 17 7/8" by 5/8". OOPS, I didn't measure the thickness, but about 1/4".

(unlike the companionway hatch cover which has a curvature to it, which is 30" wide by 28 1/4" long (front to trear), rectangular, but about a 15/16" rise at the center.) Square corners, but front edge has a bevel to it to match the angle of the companionway.

All are 3/4" thick.

Those are the measurements for the hatches on my 8.0c.

Those are the dimensions for the hatch I just replaced. On my 'a' I had, or at least after 35 years, a clear hatch .
