82 Catalina 25

Greetings

Well, I finally settled on an 82 Catalina 25 fin keel. It's in fairly good shape needing bottom paint and some tlc in the cabin.

Is there anything in particular I should be on the lookout for on this model? Trouble areas?

Is it possible for two people to step the mast?

I've not had a boat with roller furling jib before any pointers? Can all that be setup after the mast is stepped?

Jan: Can't do particulars on that boat model as I have the 250. 2 people should be able to raise the mast just fine with an A frame or gin pole method. Rig the furling sail after raising the mast to minimize the weight you have to raise. A frame and gin pole systems are explained in the forum archives from prior posts. Chief
