'81 Hunter 30 "problems"

Quik inexpensive fix

Andrew: A friend of mine at our marina has replaced his main sheets with a block system from a hobie cat. Lotsa purchase and you can undo it with a snap shackle. I think that they have them at West Marine. It has something like 7/1" line.

For the main sheet block, its a two part block for 3/8 line mounted on a traveler with 1/4 inch blocks to control the lateral positioning. I'm guessing the vang was not original equipment; mine doesn't seem like it. In any case, with the mid boom sheet, its not very useful.
