My S2 has a removable floor panel in front of the companionway and below it water accumulates.

where does this water come from?

my boat has two opening that appear to drain into this bilge pocket. I tried to see if this water would drain to the aft bilge and it does not.

I have attached a picture. please help

Wow! Interesting! I don't have a removable panel but was curious if there was more to the bilge in the main cabin. I had planned on pulling up my floor to check the support under the mast step.

Rain water from the anchor Locker would be my first thought but we don't have an anchor locker on deck.

Is the boat in the water right now? Maybe water from thru-hull from either the galley or head sinks? Perhaps from the keel itself?

I don't have the removable panel either. I suspect it is from the anchor well - if you use the anchor, pulling the rode back in brings water into the bow well - that water has to go somewhere. Do you have the icebox drain into the regular bilge?

I kinda want to pull up the floor to see just what the mast compression post sits on. But that would probably just be the beginning of another project keeping me from sailing this coming spring.

My boat is a trailer queen. I will conduct a drain check from the anchor locker. I also suspect that it is coming from the anchor locker. rain water can get into the locker through the fitting on deck. My ice box is empty and I do not know where it drains to. the keel is an interesting possibility because the forward end of this pocket has led pellets

Thanks for the replies

Today I had a chance to test the drains and found out that my icebox drains to the aft bilge. Tomorrow going to test the anchor locker
