I too am thinking about replacing my 2 4D house batteries on my H376. Is the switchover to 6v in series a difficult one? Do you have to change the charger in anyway? Ihave the Heart Inverter/charger 2000w.

6 volts

I replaced my 4D's with Trojan T-105's last year. The T-105's are about 1 inche taller than the 4D's so you'll need a little extra head clearance. Needed a new ground cable (old one too short) and a couple of short one's to make the series connection. The T-105's fit right in the 4 D box so that was no problem. Biggest hassle was getting the old 4D's off the boat. Went from around 300 AH with the two 4D's to 440 AH with the Trojans. Bryce S/V Spellbinder H410

No Problem

Your charger will work just fine. Charging a bank of 6Vs is just like charging a 12V.
