After replacing my internal tank twice now due to cracks around the exit tube that leak fuel (pictured), I want to convert to an external tank. I know back in the day I saw a post or link somewhere with a parts list, how-to, etc but I can't find it now. Has any fellow trailer sailor on here done it and willing to share know-how? Specifically does this part... 3B2702601M Fuel Connector Engine Side Male 3B2702601M Fuel Connector Engine Side Male - www.tohatsu.us ... go through the motor housing where the (no-longer-needed) petcock is located? Everything outside the motor... tank hose etc is easy to figure out. Thank you!

Crack circled in red... very crummy design... previous two tanks did the same thing... lasted about 1.5 - 2 years...
