5411 instal

I now have a used 5411 diesel that I am currently installing. I am told that it runs like new (we'll see). Are there any pictures available of how the exhaust is routed to the stainless steel water muffler which is on the port side of the engine compartment? Are all Catalina mufflers located in this area. My concern is that when on an extreme port tack the muffler is higher than the motor. Is it possible that any water still in the muffler will find its way back into the manifold? I am wondering what the standard factory install of the system looks like.

Exhaust riser

There should be a rise in the exhaust pipe from your manifold that will keep water from siphoning back into your engine from the muffler while heeling to Stbd.
