I am looking at a 52 Irwin to purchase for a liveaboard/ traveler. Anyone know much about them good and bad.

A coworker at Harris in FLorida when I was younger, bought one and he and his wife lived aboard. I crewed many times and it was a wonderful boat. His was a center cockpit. It was a big boat for the time and sailed quite well on the Banana River and out to the atlantic. I learned a lot sailing with him and I often cleaned the hull in exchange for just sitting in the anchor rail. I was told that a sistership was used in the old movie Lucky Lady and the old Kool cigarette ads, although I always thought it was more an Sparkman and Stevens look..
A beautiful boat, and one of the Irwins that had a project manager from the beginning. They were made in the Tampa/St Pete area.
