well, I thought I would stop by and say hi! sold my boat a couple months ago. the new owner got her ready & we are on our way to his home in Annapolis. what an adventure! some highlights: lost steering @ frying pan shoals, ripped the main in heavy wind, sailed through a HUGE tstorm @ the outer baks (terrifying), and had battery problems. other than that its been an awesome sail. averaging over 5 kts. we left charleston monay nite @ 10p. had to stop in southport to fix the battery issue. will arrive in annapolis ahead of schedule! hopefully about 3.

im already lookinv for my next boat! I actually made it out alive on this one.definately want something this size or larger. she has proven very seaworthy.

later everybody!

Sounds like a fun adventure. Curious as to why you would sell such a fine boat only to be looking for another of the same size. The H40 Legend probably isn't a true offshore boat but still one of my favorites. Fast and roomy seems like the ideal combination.
