Dianne and I bought our H355 at the Annapolis Boat Show in October, 1994 from Nortons Yacht Sales in Deltaville, Virginia. I responded to both owners surveys conducted by Hunter concerning my Hunter and my dealer. The purpose of this post is to provide a 5 year update on our H355 for anyone considering buying a H355. After 5 summers of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay we are happy to report that the boat has performed just great! We have not had any gear failures, system failures or engine problems. I change the oil and filters twice a year, use the engine additives recommended by Yanmar, pull the impeller out when I winterize and keep the engine clean. I did have a problem with the Hood furling system when the spacer fell out of the top swivel but had no trouble replacing it. Although the holding tank is still in good shape I am going to replace it this winter with a plastic tank. I added a dish rack from a Hunter 340 that really looks great good and adds additional storage space in the galley. Our boat sails great and draws comments from other boat owners about how good it looks. We have been completely satisfied with our Hunter and our dealer.l
