Good morning everyone, Just thought I'd check to see if anyone in the Corpus Christi area would be charitable enough to take me on as crew for a few hours sail on Friday April 9. I am traveling to Texas on business this coming week and will wind up in Corpus Christi with several hours on my hands from late morning to early evening on Friday. Would be more than happy to provide refreshments. My boat is still under tarp and the lake up here is still frozen so a few hours sail would be a real charity! If no one is going out, then perhaps someone can point me towards some of the interesting places to see as this is my first visit to the Corpus Christi area. The Tee Heads
Sorry Claude, I am too far away to help you. However, in Corpus go down to the Tee heads and you will be in sail boat heaven. Some nice sea food restaurants there also. If you have a lot of time, drive over to Rockport. There are lots of sailboats there to. CC is one of my favorite places, so have fun.

Hello again and thanks to the 120+ that had a look at my earlier post looking for a charitable soul who would take me on as crew on Friday April 9 in Corpus Christi, TX. Due to problems with host server, I have not received any messages for more than 30 hours and the ones I sent have all been returned as undeliverable. I can navigate the net however! Go figure! I can sail my 34 solo, operate and navigate with radar, GPS, etc... but I still do not understand why I am able to get on the net but the messages don't work. My host server tells me they're working on the problem! Their suggestion: ask the people to re-send ! So, if those of you that send a message at c.l.auger@videotron.ca would be so kind as to re-send, it would really be appreciated! Could you also please copy me at my office address: cauger@caristrap.com as I have no trouble getting messages there. Thanks again. Claude

I do not understand it: over 200 views to my post of last Saturday and except for Jim who is not even from the area, no one got back to me. Thanks Jim, I'll follow your advice and go hang around the clubs and marina in Corpus Christi and that Texas area. At least I'll be around sailboats if I can't get on one for a few hours.
