I ordered injectors for my 85 4jhe yanmar. The new injectors are slightly different than the old ones. When I talk with the supplier. The injectors were supercede with the new one. The old ones had a steel washer under the injectors. Do I use those on the new injectors? The diagram for the parts list doesn't show them.

Looks to me like if your engine # is 01001 or greater, it uses the "new" type.. If less than that number, it uses the "old" type. The arrangement looks fundamentally different.. Not really familiar with that engine, just noting what I see in the book pages posted..
