Hi Guys i have a 1987 4 cylinder yanmar engine that i think is the 4jh-e model
haven't found an tag of number on yet
An i am looking to replace the exhaust elbow an the flange that mounts on the back of the exhaust manifold
do to what i think i see as broken studs the flange i think has 4 holes in it to mount to the exhaust manifold
for i can see 2 studs with nuts on the out port side but but no stud of nut on the inner side 3 look broken off
Question i believe that i had seen a while back where some one stated that 2 out studs are to turn left to loosen
an that the 2 inner ones missing where to be to turn right to loosen
Has any one replaced the exhaust elbow an know for sure if the inner ones are right to loosen an the outer ones left to loosen
Thanks Guys Rick
