changed out
Sorry, didn't see the "out".

I recently changed out the 2" exhaust hose on our boat and it wasn't a bad job. Not saying yours will be as easy.

- do the job on a warm day as the hose will be more pliable.

- use the old hose to pull a sturdy nylon cord through the course to act as a fish line.

- keep cutting off the old hose in short lengths for ease of placement after removing. Use a fine tooth hack saw for the internal wire.

- heat the new hose with a hair dryer for jamming on to fittings. It doesn't expand much with the internal wire but softens the rubber just enough to fit.

- use SuperLube on fittings if the heat doesn't work. Don't worry about slipping off under the double clamps. A bulldozer couldn't get them apart with the clamps tight.

Good luck. You can expect you salty vocabulary to expand by about 100% on this job.
