42 Passage differences from 1989 thru 2005?

All,
My wife and I are preparing to buy Hunter 42 Passage and are looking at boats from 1989 thru about 2005 or so. Can anyone tell me what key differences in this boat during those years? While the prices are generally lower for the older boats, and of course I would check the condition given the boat's age, are there any differences I should consider based on the year?

I would recommend models with stainless Arch and as new as you can afford
for all the new up dated equipment.

We have at least 2 center cockpit 42 Hunters in our club and I know for sure they and wife love them and one even is very much a racer every week and they are bith newer with stainless arch.
