1992 catalina 42' with isomat mast and boom. I went to pull out and replace the outhaul only to find its not a single line but the wire is led to a fiddle block which is connected inside the boom.
Has anyone done away with this setup and gone to a single line? Any suggestions or experience with this?
Second is that the reefing line is also set up with a fiddle block. Has anyone done away with this setup as well and gone to a single line?
