410 sail cover

The integrated sail cover on my 410 has been a pain from day 1. In less than 2 years it has deteriorated to the point where the zipper seams are separating from the cover. I never liked balancing on the arch to get the process started anyway. Is there a better solution here? I like the look of the cover once the struggle to get it closed was completed but now that I need a replacement anyway I am open to suggestions.

Try tabs

We used UV protected material tabs about 350 mm long and about 50 mm wide across the top with velcro sewn on the underside. This seems to work very well. We have a non-Hunter sail pocket made by our local sailmaker, with the Hunter logo sewn on. It looks great.

We had a standard type cover made for our 380 when the zipper broke. works fine and no need to get on the arch to start the zipper.Andy HansomVanishing Point
