410 Freezer Lifter Arm

Hi,

I have a 1998 Hunter 410 and I need to replace the Freezer Lifter Arm.I know it says "Spring Lift" on it but I cannot find a manufacturer and I am 4 hours away from the boat. Can anyone tell me the specs of this lifter: Closed Length, Open length, diameter, etc.?

Hi Everyone, thanks for the replies. I have been able to measure and mine is 20" long center to center. Apparently though Hunter ordered several different models that year so yours may be shorter or longer. SBO also suggest a 20 lbs arm but they go from 15 lbs to 40 lbs. There should be a sticker on yours with the weight rating, mine did not have a sticker.

SBO sells them. I have not replaced one of them yet, thus I'm not having the specs handy. But I'm sure, they can tell wheter thay provide a guarantee to fit for this part as well.

the term is "gas strut" you need to know the end connector pin diameters and closed and open stroke length.
