I am new to my 2005 41 DS. I was planning on moving the current Delta anchor over to become my secondary anchor. I have a new Ronca 54 ready to go on to the roller but when I tried to close the anchor hatch it hits the Delta anchor. The hump in the hatch is aligned only to for the primary anchor. I am hoping someone has done some modification that I can follow so I can place the secondary anchor and close the anchor locker hatch. Pictures would be great thanks :confused:confused:

Good luck with your new boat. I love mine. I agree having two anchors ready to go would be great. Aside from the hump issue, will a second anchor bind on the first? By the way, I use a Mantus 45 which works great.

good question on my old 376 the secondary anchor was off set a lot more than the primary anchor. I wondering if this roller is not off set enough.

Do you only have the one anchor

My 2004 44DS is the same way, I never understood why Hunter would go to the expense of putting on a double bow roller and then design the anchor locker hatch to be incompatible with it.

I have a fiberglass person coming to look at it Tuesday. I am thinking about changing the hump to fit two. But first I need to see if two anchors and live together on the roller seems the off set is not very far apart. If they will I think I can expand the hump to handle two.
