40.5 frig/freezer power plate liquid

i have a '93 40.5 legend with both refrigerator and freezer being Adler/barbour 12 volt air cooled withpower plates.1.)can you tell me what is the liquid in the power plates,2.)how much liquid should be in them,3.)is the liquid under any pressure,4.)generally speaking, where can i get it.(retail?) thanks for your time, take care, Jim

PowerPlate liquid

The liquid is DowFrost. There should be approx. 2 quarts. It is under no pressure.If you contact Dow Chemical, they should be able to give you a list of retailers

Cold Machine, pressure measurement

Anyone know where one cold purchase the male/female fittings that would fit on the low pressure side of a 1984 vintage Adler Barbour Cold machine? I would like to measure the pressure to determine if it has leaked freon over the years, and the male/female fittings that came with the unit for the connecton of the charged lines and the compressor are an ideal place to insert a T and a pressure gauge without losing any further freon.
