I know, I know, this subject has been flogged to death but I need to make an informed decision. After finishing my engine room revamp, I decided to look closely at the motor mounts since I noticed the engine shake more than I would expect it. So after a complete visual inspection with adequate light, I found that my motor mounts had pretty much melted away. I believe these are originals.
I have read many postings on motor mounts and I am more informed although confused.
Some claim Yanmar mounts are the only thing to use.
Some claim that the front MM are different from the rear MM
Some claim that right side are different from left side to counter engine torque.
Some claim they are all 4 different.
Some hate the Bushings, Inc units and some have no problems with it.
I like the price of the Bushings Inc MM. They basically have the same footprint as the originals. i have found 2 models that would work. The DF100 and the DF 2207-2. They both carry the same weight capacity, just that the DF100 is lower profile than the other.
If any of you have used these units, which one you chose and how did it work out. Any advise is welcomed.
