Can somebody verify, beyond a reasonable doubt, that this is my rear seal gone bad? I've already replaced the oil supply tube thingy. It doesn't seem to leak while motor runs but just sitting for a few hours this amount of oil appears.

Thanks, I am very new here, within an hour.

Thanks Bryan

Replacing the gasket will be a bit of a hassle  and the fact that it DOESN'T leak while running would make me want to take a much closer look. Clean the entire area around and above the leak and then try packing the area above the leak with clean paper towel. Run the engine for a few hours to see if you can trace the source to a more benign location.

Welcome aboard !
Assuming looking aft at the joint of the flywheel cover and transmission..?
Inside there are three potential leak routes: the O-ring seal on the crankshaft oil seal carrier, the crankshaft oil seal itself., and the transmission input shaft oil seal.. But be positive about no leakage on the banjo connectors of the external oil lines and no leakage from the back of the cylinder head cover (valve cover) that might be drooling slowly, following other gasket splits, down to the low point.. Is the crankcase oil level dropping? is the transmission oil level dropping?

Recently I've had leaks drip on engine oil pan and on compartment tray. Traced it to bad rocker cover gasket. Small traces of oil from stern side of cover (at cylinder 1 side) finding its way anywhere downwards. Changed the rubber gasket and problem solved.

Hello and thnx for the input. I have been running the engine for a couple days now and watching the leak. It's still just showing signs from the two little holes in the above picture. It's engine oil, as I just replaced transmission oil not to long ago and level there is not changing and it's very very clean, unlike the oil pictured. I'm watching the level of oil and the amount I'm losing. A point another thread made was that I should wait to attack this small leak, because maybe I could need more work in engine just a couple months down the road. This is in a 1997 h340 so the engine is the same age.

Thanks again for all of your help and thanks for the "welcome aboard".
