3GM30F Water Pump Rotation Kit

Hi,
I am the owner of a 2004 Beneteau 331 with a Yanmar 3GM30F engine. The water pump impeller access is not easy, and even using a speed seal cover can frustrate the
most dedicated mechanic. The new Yanmar 3YM30AE has the pump mounted with the cover
on the front. Does any one know of a conversion kit that you can install that would
convert the pump orientation on the 3GM30F? (I saw a video on the web for a conversion kit, but it was located in Turkey. Website had security issues...) Any help or information appreciated.

Take a look at this thread with regards to the 2gm and my conversations. The 2GM and 3GM have some small dimensional
issues. You may have to use a thicker spacer washer on the pump pulley.

I don't know about how your engine is installed or how much front engine access you have on your Beneteau so take this with that in mind. On my Hunter 340 the front of the engine and raw water pump are easily accessed ( see photo). To service the pump and change out the impeller, the whole pump can be easily removed using the two engine pump mounting and adjusting bolts. Once out of the boat the pump cover and impeller are easily serviced. Re-installation and belt adjustment are quick and easy as well.
