386 salon table

Changed old shades for these blinds on my 386. Really like how they look, so much cleaner than old look. Now I have to do something with the salon table. It’s just too big to get around comfortably. Has anyone come up with a better arrangement? I’ve thought of removing it entirely.

Did you ever decide what to do with your table? I have thought of cutting off about an inch and a half all the way around but suspect that won't really address the issue.
