HELP!!!I'm getting my ammo together for an appeal to my local PHRF board. You see, the Southern California Region rates my Vision 32 as 165 (168 is the Vision 32 class rating and I have a bigger jib, hence a 165 rating) while other boards rate the V-32 as high as 192.The Ensenada race is coming up (mostly all downwind) and I'll get hammered again unless I get a higher handicap.I've heard from Doyle Sailmakers that some Hunter Vision 32'a have a 33' "J" (headsail luff) and other Hunters have a 38' "J".Does anyone know which years were 33 and which years were 38 (or whether this was a specfication choice like a "tall rig" on a Catalina)? My thought is that I may be entitled to an adjustment or perhaps should even be rated in a different class.Any info will be much appreciated.
