I have contacted US Yacht cushions about replacing the cushions in my 1982 37C, and they only have the templates for the 1984 model. Does anyone know whether Hunter changed the cushions between 1982 and 1984 for the 37C, or are they the same ? I have tried to send e-mail to the Hunter site, but have gotten no replies. Any info would be greatly appreciated....

Pete, We would like to replace our cushions as well. I have taken them to an upholstery shop for and estimate and talked to a couple of other shops about estimates. We are looking at $1000-1500 for cushions and new foam. The foam has broken down and will need to be replaced and it is mildewed. All estimates are for sunbrella type fabrics though one estimate was for a synthetic blend which should work just as well inside the boat and opens up a lot more options for patterns and colors. go to an RV cushion and canvas shop
There's nothing special about boat cushions. Why pay the typical high markup that a marine shop charges? You'll also get a better fit with a local shop that comes and measures the boat. I had my done from a pattern: what a mistake!

I REPACED MY CUSHIONS THRU US YACHT ON A 1985 MODEL. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE REMPLATE AT THAT TIME SO I CUT THE CUSHIONS AT THE ZIPPER AND SENT IT TO THEM. THEY MADE A TEPLATE AND SENT ME A COMPLETE SET USING MY FOAM.
