I've checked everything I can find in the archives about the problems everyone's having getting the anchor line to fall off the windless. I'm wondering if anyone's come up with a solution to the problem? I wan't to install one, but not if it's more trouble then it's worth. Thanks, Doug Alden

380's fine

The 380 electric windlass works flawlessly so perhaps Hunters customer Service guys could tell you the differene in design, or you could compare one boat to the other yourself to see why the 380 anchhor well is ok and the 376's isn't. Good luck, it's a great addition to the boat! Bob Knott H380

windless

Had some initital problems with dropping the anchor on my H410. The rope rode would coil under the windless and jam. Took it out of the locker to the dock one afternoon and spent a couple hours "uncoiling" the rope rode. No problems since then.

Windlass rode

I have a lofrans progress 1 installed, I have 125' of chain plus 150' nylon spliced to the chain, never had to use more than the chain so its never been a problem with the chain leaving the windlass. Tony Wilcox
