Check to anchor drain

We experienced some water in the v-berth when we were in heavy seas and the anchor pulpit drain was clogged. Lots of water over the bow, and a slow drain allowed water into the rode compartment/v-berth. Blow out the drain whenever you fill the water tank and it should be ok. (or avoid water over the bow, but what fun is that) Russell s/v Allie Kat

Leaks

We had water leaks in the v-berth of our 340. One source was the sending unit fitting on the top of our water tank leaking & flooding the v-berth sole. The other source was the sides of the anchor locker. The sides had been cut out at the factory, opening a void allowing water to enter the v-berth draining down under the cushions. It took us quite awhile to find the problem. We finally removed the fwd trim piece in the v-berth exposing the anchor locker 7 we could see the water entering while we used a water hose. Check under the sides of your anchor locker with a mirror for any similar openings. Solved our problems.

leaky windows

my lewmar windows were leaking. they leak behind the liner so it is hard to see where it is coming from. i tightened them and they seemed to stop. before launch i will take them out and re-bed. just pull the plastic moulding off and tighten the screws.
