anybody have any input on what the right size ac should be for my 37 cutter, I had a 16,000 btu but really felt it was never enough has anyone have had any experiance on this. or input would help

Depends on where you sail. Southern water or northern. In sw fla it does not cool off much at night most of the year so you need bigger more efficient units. Up north not so much. I just replaced a 16500 with an 18000 on my catalina 34. Helped.
A 16000 BTU unit should turn your boat into a refrigerator. My boat gets down to 68 degrees in Key West in the summer. A LOT of condensation on the cabin exterior.
Blaise, thanks for your input. I think my unit is to old. so I bought a 18.500 btu from ocean breeze, thats what was on there. the were very nice adn lets hope it works also I can add another vent. Thanks
