Hoping someone may have a clue where to look on this.

I was doing some work way aft of the aft berth with the bulkhead removed. There was a steady drip. Only a drip every 2-3 seconds. But it is on the removable plywood, and is enough to delaminate it. I look above and everything seems solid fiberglass.

There is an opening in the cabin top, and the water is coming out that. Anyone have a clue where to look?

Thanks

Water leaks

Assuming you have a Hunter Cutter 37 like mine in the picture, that leak would be manifesting itself on the port side aft of the jib sheet winch.

I have no experience of leaks in that location. When I had leaks in the chain plates and coach roof they showed in the cabin but who knows where water that gets above the liner will migrate to.

Possibilities for the point of ingress would be the scupper, right above the i in the name, or the stanchion base, or the toe rail, or the deck fill which shows up as a black dot aft of the portlight.

If this is an HC37 suggest you post into the Cherubini area so other owners will see it for sure.

I have the Legend. But you make very good points. Since I looked immediately above and I don't see any seams, or attached items. I probably need to look a little further away. Also found that the fresh water inlet was totally dry and was pouring water in....so another similar issue is most likely.

Thanks for the ideas.
