Discovered a potentially destructive problem with the water drain in the cold storage box inboard of the freezer box. The drain is situated at the front of the cold storage area just behind a clear plexiglass dam.The drain works well if there is very little water to drain through the provided hole. I looked in the engine compartment the first morning to find fresh water under the engine, on either side of it and under the batteries. Some investigation revealed the bag of ice put in the cold storage area prior to our arrival had completely melted and flowed over the dam at the front of the cold storage area.A towel placed beside the drain hole and constant pumping kept the overflow to a minimum. A pain, but it worked. The overflow wouldn't be much of a problem if it all went directly to the lowest point of the bilge where it could be pumped regularly. Unfortunately it doen't do that. Instead the overflow stays in the area mentioned above and can beome high enough to keep the bottom of the wood around the engine compartment soaking wet most of the time. Not a good deal for years down the road.Working with our charter company on a fix that will see a 1 gallon resevoir added to the pump out hose. This should allow the overflow to collect in the resevoir and not flow over the plexiglass dam.Any other ideas will be cheerfully entertained!WaltJ Shammah
