36 Cal fuel tank replacement

I purchased a 1968 36' Cal Pilothouse, inside of tank is rusted and i would like advice on what to replace it with. I think I will have a lot of work to remove everything. has anyone under taken this job?

Before replacing contact your local Fuel Polishing company, often they can repair for less than replacing.

If you haven't already taken care of your fuel tank issue go online to moeller. They have very cool tank in many confirgurations to fit your situation They come with the necessary fuel sending units so all you need to do is hook up a fuel guage and you actually have a fuel guage rather than just a measuring stick. (which btw works pretty well) I ripped my old rusty nasty, filled with about 4 inches of some sort of saw dust looking stuff, out and replaced it with a new moeller plastic tank.
