Thanks for all your replies on whether or not to let my new 356 be used for demo sails. In the end I agreed after some hard bargaining to let them use the boat for 3-4 weeks.I got a pretty good deal in extra equipment + I am happy they (OpalMarine UK) will look after her.I have posted the pics which show you guys what we Brits mean by bilge keels + also a couple of the table modification we have on the UK built 356. See the picture forum. Now cant wait to sail her myself :) Thanks again....Colin

Me Too

Hi Colin, I loaned my 376 back to Opal Marine in the summer of 1996 as it was only the second one in the UK at the time. They looked after it perfectly and I too benefitted from some free gear in return. I even left my GPS on all the time so I could see where they went on the demo sails. FYI I have always found Opal to be most accommodating ever since. Join the LOA too - see link below Regards,

Thanks Don

Nice to hear you didn't regret 'loaning' your 376. Great to hear from you, I follow all of your articles in the boating press avidly ever since I first saw you had a 376.Its good to know that someone like yourself actually owns and enjoys sailing a Legend. I will certainly be joining the LOA and look forward to meeting you and 'Autumn Legend' in person. Colin PS legendowners.com is already on my favourites listing :)
