I hope someone can help me....I am looking for the size bimini I need for a Hunter 35 Legend. Can anyone help me on the size?

Also, I am curious if anyone has patterns for the cut size on the cushions for the V-berth and aft stateroom.

We are refitting alot of things on this boat and are having a hard time finding sizes/patterns.

Patterns? I don't think you are going to find ANY patterns. Many of the companies such as US Yacht Cushions can provide you with complete cushions sets, but I doubt that they are going to give you their patterns. US Yacht Cushions is right in your backyard.

As far as your bimini, you can purchase a custom or semi-custom unit from this website. They have a measurement system that allows you to order it and mount it yourself.

I concur with Steve. We just had a local (Annapolis) canvas shop do the measurements and make a bimini for our H35. I'm sure there's a similar shop in St Pete.

Much better off using a local sail loft that does canvas or a canvas guy...have them come out and help you design what YOU want. All biminis are not the same and a good canvas guy can really help you get maximum cockpit coverage. Your area should be covered up with canvas shops hungry for business. Interior cushions will get expensive regardless what you do. Stay away from wild patterns, stripes, the dreaded "Catalina plaid", etc. Most "home sewn" cushions look "home sewn" and can really affect resale of the boat.

The others are correct

and there are many good canvas shops/contractors in St. Pete. JSI is probably the best known. Apologies to Phil and this site but a local shop can make/add many features and adjustments that you may want. Typically they'll come out and do the measuring as well as meet with you to answer your questions and provide follow-up service.

Cushions can also be more complicated than you might first imagine. There's foam densities to consider (if you're replacing it) as well as many construction details to make decisions on. In my experience, if you're not a brave do-it-yourselfer, having some guidance can be worth the extra money.

I would at least peruse this site to see what it has to offer before making your decision. At the very least it would give you some perspective and I'm sure Phil would appreciate your business.
