problem - leaking waterline connections under galley sink - unable to access locknuts which hold faucet to the sink,and the coupling nuts connecting water supply to the faucet, even using basin/faucet wrench - what options are there to gain access, or does the sink have to be removed first??

Special wrench for that

There is a special wrench that is made to reach up into the narrow space. That fits around the nut. Just google sink wrenches.
