322 Mooring lines don't clear anchor on roller

I keep my 322 on a Mooring, and have a CQR I'd like to hang on the bow roller. However, due to the angle of the pendantsd leaving the boat going to the ball, they rub on the anchor. So, I have to tie my anchor up on the deck just aft of the bow. I tried an expensive "extender", which didn't work. I've thought about finding a welder to add extension plates on the roller, but wondering what others have done? I've seen another boat or two in my harbor that store their anchors upside down on the roller, which I haven't yet tried.
Seems like a bad design to me...
Anyone else come up with an idea?

Does your stem fitting and roller look like this?

Attached pics. Yours seem to extend a bit further, and I’m on a mooring so the pendants are closer to centerline.
