No Log
You can not adjust the configuration of the available displays on this GPS unit. They are preset with the most common options, and you can not set up custom data boxes on the larger displays. It does not have a cumulative log or an average speed indicator. Traditionally GPS positioning has not been accurate enough to use for a log function. For example, while dead in the water, you would typically always be registering a knot in one direction or the other. Any of the speed log (paddlewheel) type speed instruments would have the log feature. The larger GPS displays also have a VMG data box option. The Raynav 300 does not have VMG as one of its default databoxes.
