31' , 1983 Hunter Owners Manual

We are in the process of purchasing a well cared for 1983, 31' Hunter. How can we get a hold of an owners manual?

I have a 1984 31 with the owner's manual. There is not much to it at all, the most valuable portion are thea wiring and plumbing diagrams. The book is really for all Hunters, 27 to 37. The "help" section is so very basic it not worth reading. I have, however, found the diagrams to be useful.I'll be happy to mail you copies if you give me an address. Email is dcdon@hotmail.com

Manual Help

The stock Hunter manual does not provide much worthwhile information so dont waste much effort trying to get it. Instead try to get the individual manuals on all the systems that you can. Like the original installation manuals for the head, fridge, engine, water heater, etc. The owner probably has them. This is where you will get good info. I did find that Hunter supplied all the original rigging information and stay sizes with the boat. This is helpful for tuning.Good luck.
