30' Newport MKII (1974) mast needed

A shroud snapped and I broke the mast in two. I am having a dufficult time finding a replacement mast. I could get an extrusion and reattach the spreaders and mast head. The mast was 4"X9" w/ semicircular ends and 1/8" thick. It was 38'-4" tall but the specs say it is 39'-5". Does anyone have any ideas on where to try to find an extrusion or a salvaged mast?

Yes. They were pricey. the boat is worth maybe $5000 in this market. They wanted to charge me $575 for a 30" section of extrusion. i can't imagine what a 40' Length would be.

Have you checked US Spars? My neighbor at the dock had his Hunter mast break in two and used them for a replacement.
