30 CAL PROP?

JUST GRADUATED UP (FROM A 22) TO 30' CAT. PROP HAS DAMAGE...LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DEFECTIVE AND ZINCS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED IN A WHILE...ANYHOW, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS THE BEST SIZE/TYPE (PREFERRABLY ONE I DON'T NEED ANOTHER LOAN FOR!!) PROP FOR THIS BOAT?

Check w/Minney's

It shouldn't be hard to determine the size (it will depend on your engine). You can try a search on this site or contact Catalina for the specs. They also may be stamped on your propeller. Once you have them, check with Minney's Yacht Surplus in Costa Mesa to see if they have a good, used prop that meets your requirements. Here's a link to their prop page. Note that some C-30 owners have changed over to a 3-blade prop for more power (but more drag while sailing).
