Hi; I just got rid of my 30 year old boat and purchased a 1999 Hunter 270. To my surprise, there is no place to plug in the 30 AMP slip power to run TV, stereo etc that I planned on putting in place. Has anyone added this, and if so where is the best place. Better yet, is it hidden so well I just can't find it? Also has anyone cut the table in half and then re-attached it so that it can be removed from time to time? Thanks. Horace

Hi Horace. I am unfamiliar with the H270...

but the 30 amp shore power cord on our 1989 H28 was hard wired into the boat's main power buss with the cord stored in the aft lazarette locker. Terry P.S. Our H28 had a few AC outlets around the inside of the boat. Head, main salon, etc. It also had a battery charger and hot water heater. The power panel at the navigation station also had an AC breaker, so...if these items are not present, you may not have a shore power source.

Thanks

I was pretty careful to check the lockers very well, but will look again. I also didn't see any power outlets, so those could be hidden as well. The two extra 15 amp fuses on the main bus have been used for the macerator and the radio, so I'm going to have to do something else anyway. BTW the 270 is a 260 with a fixed keel instead of the water balast and centerboard keel. Thanks. Horace

Check to see if you have outlets in the cabin.

if you don't it may be a good indication there is no inlet connector and no 120V wiring. Did you say you you upgraded?
