holes in boat

Good day Heather, The two Holes forward are the openings for the Head, there should be one small and one large one. The older Catalinas had the option of a fixed in place head with openings to the water. there were no rules for dumping raw sewage in the water at that time. My 1970 has these holes for the built in head. I had to seal them off for S.F.Bay. Some marinas will look to see if these holes are sealed. The third hole in line with the keel is the cable/drain hole, this is where the cable for the swing and/or the drains for the cockpit. All of these holes must have a valve or ball-cock at the base of the piping inside the boat. fair winds AL
