2qm20 tach question.

Where does the blue wire go? I have the white wire on the ground going to my negative bus. Should that be where the blue wire from the sender goes?
Orange wire is going to sender.
Is there a wire supposed to go to the nut at the top of my tach?

I have a feeling that the tachometer in the picture may not be the same one that the wiring diagram is for. This is another way of saying it is different from original.

1 Has this tach ever worked while you have owned it?
2 Post a picture of the sender - presumably a magnetic pick up mounted near the starter ring gear.
3 Determine the make and model number of the tachometer.
4 Let us know.....
