A couple of you have told me the attachment didn't come through. So I will
send it again (the attachment did show attached in my sent mail box -- it
is only text, so not all that big to be bounced -- oh well, it is a
computer after all). For that matter, I will just copy and paste the list
in this email also (so skip to the end for the attachment if you don't want
to read this long email).
I was asked for pictures too. I don't have any recent, but will see if I
can find some when she was in the yard in 2005. I will be up at the marina
Thursday for a class I am teaching (Advanced Coastal Piloting) and will see
if I can get a few then.
_________ same as attachments (I have sent both PDF and MS Word docs this
time).
Vega Series 2 -- Hull Number 2923
3 sails:
· Two main sails, one genoa 130%. One main built by Port Townsend
Sails (Carol Hasse). This sail has only flown when tested after build
(always in sail bag).
· The other mail (fully battened) refitted for blue water also by
Hasse.
· Genoa also by Hasse and has only flown a couple times. It is cut for
the roller furler, but has been in the bag most of the time.
New Mast, standing rigging, running rigging (somewhat dirty now), Schaffer
Roller fuler installed in mid-2005 -- Brion Toss Rigging. All navigation
lights LED. New deck navigation lights also LED.
Mast Support beam installed by yard when mast work was being done.
Beta Engine (13HP), coupler, shaft, propeller Installed -- 2007. Engine has
not been run in a couple years, but Beta says this is no problem. Will need
a new engine and shaft zincs installed (I have shaft zinc).
Hull professionally painted in mid-2005 (Deck not done and is in good
shape, however cockpit locker lids need rebuilding). New thru-hulls
installed. New Lewmar Cockpit winches.
Interior clean but needs some minor work. Upholstery good.
New electrical panels (Blue Seas) 12Vdc and 120Vac installed in a custom
wooden cabinet, but not wired into boat. New cabin lights.
No head installed at this time at this time.
Custom stainless box for Force 10 for heater. Heater rebuilt but not
tested. New pressure tank and copper tube (not installed).
Semi-custom engine mount installed for very small outboard (only a small
plate visible when engine not installed).
