Has any one ever installed a ST60 wind meter without demasting? Is this possible? First I was told it can be done, than the installer said no. what's up? Is it possible to send a metal snake down the tube inside the mast for cables or not. Need help with 2001 290.

Use Existing Wire

Nick, I installed one on my 88 30 while the stick was up. I used the existing anchor light wiring to pull a string and the ST 60 cable down from the masthead. I then used the string to pull the anchor light wiring back up through the pvc tubing. Spent a little time in the bosun's chair but it all worked out.Frank Walker
