My 1988 Beneteau 285 has water damage at the base of the starboard bulkhead. The plywood veneer is separated from water weeping from the shower at the bulkhead base. The wall is still strong but damage is up the wall 7" and I would like to repair it for cosmetic reasons. Any ideas like cut out the bad veneer and lay in 7" high new veneer. Add a piece of laminate or stainless. So has anybody done this and have an idea.
