28' oday 3 gm will it fit? engine size

i have an opportunity to purchase a 3 gm model TK3.665 which is the same motor as the 3TN66
i have a old 1 gm with no filter and can get this cheeper than rebuilding and need to know quick as i can if a 3 gm will fit in a 1979 28' oday anyone happen to know if this is possible

I just service my YSM - which also does not have an oil filter: rather series of plates? ???

Is there a reason you are looking to replace your engine?

Is it a rebuild due to issues, age, preventive measures?

Are their known issues with the non cartridge oil filter type engines? (just looking for information to be aware/beware of...) thanks.

When At Full Oil Level Engine Will Run Away With Me Runs Fine When 1/2 Way To Full On Dip Stick So Figured Oil Was Getting By The Rings So Going To Rebuild And So Cheap For Other Engine Decided Might Just Replace If It Will Fit

I have a 2GM0f in my 28. Check the engine dims between the two
