there are lots of recent discussions indicative of the time of year you can view by searching for winterizing in the archives or check the attached link. It's kind of difficult to answer generic questions without knowing specifically what you know or don't know but simply put, flush out the raw water system with antifreeze, change the oil and filter and worry about the fuel system, thermostat and belts/imopeller as you have time over what we all hope to be a short winter.

RV antifreeze
My yanmar SB8 manual says to drain the raw water system, but I have attached a T fitting with valve to the water intake so I can draw RV antifreeze into the system. Just crank up and the impeller will fill the block and muffler until pink comes out the exhust. Don't use anti-freeze unless you have a way to safely drain it. Also replace the fuel filter and oil as Don stated

changing the fuel filter
Can anyone tell me how to change the fuel filter? I know where it is buy I'm not sure how to bleed the air out of the line. russ
